Get to Know Robin
Meet Robin Beckley, MS, LMFT, CMHS, a dedicated therapist who believes in the transformative power of empathy, insight, and personal growth. Robin is deeply passionate about creating a safe and affirming space for individuals, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, to open up, process their experiences, and work towards their self-determined goals. She particularly enjoys working with those who seek to gain insight into their relationship dynamics and self-worth, as well as gender diverse folks and LGBTQ+ youth or adults. She is also a supportive guide for interns and associates working towards licensure who are keen on learning and growing their clinical skills.

Rooted in a strength-focused, systems-based approach, Robin uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy, and systems theory interventions to help clients uncover and understand their relational dynamics. She firmly believes that therapy should be personalized and that "one size does not fit all." Robin is dedicated to helping clients feel empowered in their needs and utilizes various therapeutic interventions and theories to best meet each client's unique requirements.

Robin holds a Masters of Science in Marriage Family Therapy from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Western Washington University. She is also a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Furthering her commitment to professional growth, Robin has pursued specialized training in CBT+ and Gottman Level 1 methods.

Robin's personal mantra, "Having and communicating boundaries is not saying no to others but yes to yourself," guides her practice and emphasizes her belief in the importance of personal boundaries for mental well-being.

When she's not helping clients, Robin enjoys staying active and social. She loves being in nature, going on walks, visiting lakes and beaches, and soaking up the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Family is crucial to Robin, and she cherishes the time spent with them building memories. And if you share your birthday with Robin, there's a 90% chance she'll remember it forever (haha!).

Robin's dedication to providing a safe, affirming, and personalized therapeutic experience makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
