Our internship program at Northwest Relationships provides a unique opportunity for students in clinical graduate programs to gain valuable experience and insight into the world of mental health therapy. Our goal is to provide you with a dynamic and robust learning experience during a year-long internship with us.

Our program prioritizes professional development and growth. Our team will provide guidance and support, helping you build essential skills such as effective communication, time management, and ethical practices.

As an intern, you will have the chance to:

• Work closely with our team of licensed therapists

• Manage your own caseload of 8-12 client therapy sessions per week, working with a variety of client concerns and modalities, including relational clients and group therapy sessions

• Attend staff meetings and consultation groups

• Participate in continuing education learning opportunities

• Receive weekly supervision and mentorship from a relationally-trained (AAMFT), Washington state-approved supervisor

• Learn alongside a cohort of other intern graduate therapists, just like you
