Get to Know Brittany
Brittany Thomas is a relational therapist who provides a warm, supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to explore life’s challenges and transitions. She is passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, identity exploration, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and personal growth.
Known for her compassionate, down-to-earth style, Brittany brings a creative and collaborative approach to therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with communication in your relationships, questioning your next steps in life, or simply seeking a space to better understand yourself, Brittany is here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Her therapeutic work draws from systems theory, which considers how family, culture, and society influence our struggles and strengths. She also integrates tools from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients set meaningful goals and take manageable steps toward change. Brittany incorporates both talk therapy and creative interventions, tailoring the process to meet each person’s needs.
Brittany is deeply committed to inclusive, identity-affirming care. While she often works with Queer/trans/poly/kink and neurodivergent clients, her space is open to all who are seeking support. As a Queer, cis, non-religious (but Midwest Christian-raised), neurodivergent, white woman, Brittany brings lived experience, humility, and awareness to her practice. She understands that many of these are areas of privilege, and works to always be aware of how her identities intersect and differ from her client's life experiences.
Outside the therapy room, Brittany enjoys spending time with loved ones, knitting, engaging in the arts (music, theater, photography, museums), lifting weights, and getting outside in nature.
No matter where you’re starting from, Brittany aims to create a space where you can truly exhale—where you can show up just as you are, feel heard, and work together toward more ease, connection, and joy in your life.
